You may have seen some chatter about our 3rd Annual Fluff n’ Treat Twitter Party.  We’ve partnered up with some of our favorite companies to bring you some not-so-scary treats for a little pre-Halloween fun!  You can find out all about the Twitter Party and how you can enter to win a lifetime supply of GroVia cloth diapers in our previous post (click here).

We know that some of you are not very good at Tweeting and maybe a little intimidated by hashtags, RTs, and DMs.  Not quite sure what language I’m speaking?  Then this giveaway if just for you!  We’ve set aside some of the treats from the Twitter party just for you.

    One of the fall traditions I remember is going to a supper at our church that was called the “Fall Supper”. When I was a kid I always thought it was “Fowl Supper” because they served turkey! Volunteers from our congregation made, brought, and served the food. The best part were all the different pies: apple, lemon meringue, pumpkin, etc. And they would even let you have more than one piece if you wanted more than one kind of pie!!

    fav tradition is taking our kid (now kids!) to the neighboring town’s halloween festival (sponsored by the library and town businesses). They do a small costume contest, ‘parade’ up the street to the businesses, ‘trick or treat’ the businesses, and then go to the library for bounce house/hotdogs/ etc. It’s a really low key and enjoyable thing for small kids on up!

    My favorite fall activity is enjoying the leaves changing colors and visiting cider mill!

  253. We always make spider cookies – take an oreo and spread with peanut butter. Push a normal (the knot style) pretzel into each side to make legs. Dip in melted chocolate and let harden. Once hard flip them over and dip two M & Ms in melted chocolate and stick them on as eyes.
